Terms & conditions
The terms governing the booking and provision of private transfer services through PrivateTransfers.ro.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between MSP MOBILITY S.R.L. (the "Operator", "we") and the customer who makes a booking through the PrivateTransfers.ro platform (the "Customer", "you").
By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and fully accept these terms. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Definitions
- Operator / Carrier – the company providing the transfer service, directly or through partner suppliers.
- Customer – the person making the booking; acts on their own behalf and as representative of all passengers in the booking.
- Passenger – any person carried on the booked journey.
- Supplier / Partner – the authorised carrier the Operator may assign to perform the journey.
- Booking – the transfer order submitted through the platform and confirmed by the Operator.
- Transfer voucher – the written booking confirmation, which serves as the travel document.
2. Operator details
MSP MOBILITY S.R.L., registered office at Bd. Regele Ferdinand I al României nr. 31, Bl. B4, Et. 7, Ap. 32, Iași, jud. Iași, România, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2026043734005, sole registration code 55173440. The company is registered for VAT under number RO55173440.
MSP MOBILITY S.R.L. is the legal entity that sells the services offered through PrivateTransfers.ro and that issues the invoice to the Customer.
Contact: booking@privatetransfers.ro · +40 751 885 188.
3. Subject and scope
The Operator sells private passenger transfer services in its own name, with chauffeured vehicles, on demand (NACE code 4933), on the routes available on the platform. The Operator is a party to the contract concluded with the Customer: it sets the price, confirms the booking, collects the fare and issues the invoice.
The journey is performed either with the Operator's own vehicles and drivers or by authorised carriers subcontracted by the Operator, which the Operator selects and pays. Subcontracting creates no contractual relationship between the Customer and the partner carrier; the Operator remains liable to the Customer for performance of the service.
These terms apply to all bookings made through PrivateTransfers.ro. Any specific conditions agreed in writing with the Operator supplement, but do not replace, this document.
4. Booking and formation of the contract
A booking is made by entering the route, date, time and number of passengers, then submitting your contact details. The price shown for the selected class is firm for the selected parameters.
The contract is formed when the Operator confirms the booking by e-mail (the Transfer voucher). Until confirmation, a booking request does not bind the Operator.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the details provided (addresses, date, time, flight number, phone). The Operator is not liable for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete details.
5. Service delivery
The service is delivered in two stages: issuing the Transfer voucher and performing the journey. The Voucher is sent by e-mail, to the address given at booking, at the moment the Operator confirms the booking, and states the route, the pickup date and time, the vehicle class and the contact details for the day of travel.
The journey is performed on the booked date and time, from the pickup address to the destination shown on the Voucher. The service involves no physical delivery of goods, carries no delivery charge, and cannot be delivered other than by performing the transport.
- Airport pickup: the driver waits free of charge for up to 45 minutes from the actual landing time.
- Address pickup: the driver waits free of charge for up to 15 minutes from the scheduled time.
- If the Voucher has not arrived within 24 hours of booking, check your junk mail folder and write to us at booking@privatetransfers.ro.
6. Prices, payment and VAT
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and represent the total fare for the selected journey and vehicle class, for the parameters indicated at booking. Online card payments are processed in Romanian lei (RON): the processor converts the amount at its own exchange rate at the time of payment, so the amount debited and shown on your card statement is denominated in lei.
Invoices are issued in Romanian lei (RON). The amount invoiced is the euro price converted at the reference exchange rate published by the National Bank of Romania, valid on the invoice date, plus 1%. For journeys paid online by card, the invoice is issued for exactly the lei amount debited by the processor, so that the document and your card statement show the same value.
The prices shown include VAT at 21%. International passenger transport (departure or arrival outside Romania) is exempt from VAT with credit under Article 294(1)(g) of Law 227/2015.
Available payment methods are shown at the time of booking: online card payment, bank transfer and/or payment against an invoice. Additional services (waiting beyond the free period, extra stops, undeclared luggage) may be charged separately.
Online card payments are processed by NETOPIA Financial Services S.A., a payment processor authorised by the National Bank of Romania. Card details are entered directly on the processor's secure page and never reach, are never visible to, and are never stored on our servers; we receive only the outcome of the transaction. We accept Visa and Mastercard, and 3-D Secure authentication is mandatory.
Paying online does not, by itself, constitute confirmation of the booking. The contract is concluded when the Operator confirms in writing; if the booking cannot be fulfilled, the amount paid is refunded in full, in accordance with the cancellation and refund section.
7. The transfer service and the vehicle
The selected vehicle class indicates a category (capacity and standard), not a specific model. The Operator may substitute a similar or higher vehicle at no extra cost to the Customer.
Estimated arrival times are indicative and may be affected by traffic, weather or other factors beyond the Operator's control.
8. Luggage
The fare usually includes one hold bag and one piece of hand luggage per passenger, within the vehicle's capacity. Additional or oversized luggage (skis, bicycles, sports equipment) must be declared at booking and may incur an extra charge or require a higher class.
The Operator may refuse to carry undeclared luggage exceeding the capacity of the booked vehicle.
9. Child seats
Child seats are provided on request, subject to availability, and must be requested at booking. In accordance with road-traffic law, children below the age and height set by law must travel in appropriate restraint systems.
10. Passengers with reduced mobility
We make reasonable efforts to meet the needs of passengers with reduced mobility. Please tell us at booking about any special requirements (foldable wheelchair, boarding assistance) so we can allocate a suitable vehicle.
11. Waiting time at pickup
- Airport pickup: a free waiting period of up to 45 minutes from the flight's actual landing, provided the flight number was given at booking.
- Address pickup: a free waiting period of up to 15 minutes from the scheduled time.
- Waiting beyond the free period may be charged separately, at the rates communicated.
- In case of flight delay, we monitor the actual arrival where you provided the flight number and adjust the pickup time accordingly.
12. No-show
A no-show occurs when the passenger does not appear at the agreed place, date and time and cannot be reached during the applicable waiting period. A no-show results in loss of the journey, with no refund.
If you cannot find the driver at the meeting point, contact us immediately using the details on the Voucher before leaving the pickup location.
13. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a booking at any time: online, from the cancellation link in the e-mails you received from us, which works until 48 hours before the pick-up time, by writing to booking@privatetransfers.ro or by calling +40 751 885 188, quoting the booking reference on the Voucher. We confirm every cancellation in writing, by e-mail. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the pickup time qualify for a full refund of amounts paid; cancellations within that period, as well as no-shows, do not qualify for a refund.
Refunds are made using the same payment method, within a maximum of 7 business days from confirmation of the cancellation.
14. Changes and rescheduling
You may request changes to a booking (date, time, route, number of passengers) subject to availability. Any fare difference resulting from a change is payable by the Customer.
15. Delays on the Operator's side
We make every effort to be punctual. If, for reasons attributable to the Operator, the vehicle is significantly delayed and we cannot offer you a reasonable alternative, you are entitled to a full refund of the journey not performed.
16. Force majeure
The Operator is not liable for failure to perform, or delayed performance of, the services due to force majeure or fortuitous events: extreme weather, traffic blockages, accidents, strikes, restrictions imposed by authorities, natural disasters or other causes beyond its control.
17. Right of withdrawal
Private passenger transfer services are passenger-transport contracts entered into for a specific date or period of performance. Accordingly, the 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to them.
This exemption is based on Romanian Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 on consumer rights (art. 3(3)(j) – exclusion of passenger transport services, and art. 16(l) – services with a specific date or period of performance), which transposes Directive 2011/83/EU. The applicable terms are those in the “Cancellation and refunds” section above, which also describes the online means by which you can cancel a booking.
18. Limitation of liability
The Operator's liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value of that journey's fare, to the extent permitted by law. The Operator is not liable for indirect losses (missed flight connections, business opportunities, etc.) caused by factors beyond its control.
Luggage and personal belongings remain the passenger's responsibility throughout the journey.
19. Passenger obligations
- Be at the pickup place and time and reachable at the number provided.
- Behave appropriately and follow the driver's safety instructions, including wearing the seatbelt.
- Not carry prohibited substances and not damage the vehicle; any damage caused by fault is borne by the passenger.
- Smoking and consuming alcohol in the vehicle are permitted only with the driver's consent.
20. Complaints
Any complaint about the service may be sent to booking@privatetransfers.ro, preferably within 30 days of the journey date. We will review it and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
This contract is governed by Romanian law. Any disputes are settled amicably and, failing agreement, by the competent courts in Romania.
22. Consumer protection (ANPC and ADR)
The competent consumer-protection authority is the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), www.anpc.ro.
For alternative dispute resolution you may use the ANPC ADR (SAL) platform: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
23. Changes to these terms
The Operator may update these terms. The version applicable to a booking is the one in force at the time the booking is confirmed. The current version is published permanently on this page.
