Cookie policy
What cookies we use and how you can control them.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This policy explains what cookies are and how we use them on PrivateTransfers.ro.
5. Third-party services
The route map is displayed via OpenFreeMap, a mapping service that does not set tracking cookies. To load the map your browser connects directly to OpenFreeMap servers, which therefore receive your IP address and browser type. The basis is our legitimate interest in showing the route of your booking.
The booking and contact forms are protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When the check loads, your browser connects to Cloudflare servers, which therefore receive your IP address and browser type. Turnstile sets no tracking cookies and builds no advertising profiles. It is a security measure strictly necessary to accept a request you made yourself, so it works without cookie consent; the basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the forms.
The booking form keeps what you type in your browser's session storage, so you do not lose it if you change the language or step back. That data stays on your device, is not sent to us by this mechanism, and is erased when you close the tab or once the booking is submitted. It is strictly necessary for the form to work, so it does not depend on cookie consent.
If you accept marketing cookies and arrive from a Google ad, we keep the click identifier from the address (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) in your browser's session storage and then store it with the booking you make, so we know which campaign brought it. The identifier says nothing about you; it identifies the ad you clicked. If you refuse marketing cookies we do not keep it at all, and the booking stays unlinked to any campaign.
Analytics and marketing tools are delivered through Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited that loads the other measurement tags. The container loads on every visit, but Google Consent Mode starts with every permission denied: until you agree, no cookie is set on your device and only anonymous signals, carrying no identifiers, are sent. Your agreement unlocks full measurement, and a refusal is passed on as such. Google Tag Manager sets no cookies of its own.
If you have disabled JavaScript, the page also carries a script-free version of that container. It connects to Google servers, which therefore receive your IP address and browser type, without our being able to ask you first: in a browser without JavaScript the cookie banner cannot be shown. It is the one request on this site you cannot refuse; it sets no cookies and builds no profiles.
Analytics and marketing cookies are provided by Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and are only set after you agree.
